Service Model Overview

This program provides individualized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services delivered in a flexible, family-centered format. Services are designed to target meaningful skills that improve the child’s independence, communication, and quality of life.

Due to the out-of-pocket model, services are streamlined and focused, prioritizing high-impact goals and caregiver involvement to maximize progress.

    • Direct Therapy: 6–12 hours/week

    • Caregiver Training: 1–2 sessions/month (60 min)

    • Supervision/Program Updates: Built into sessions

    ✔ Best for:

    • Mild–moderate needs

    • Behavior reduction + communication

    • Families wanting manageable cost

    • Direct Therapy: 2–6 hours/week

    • Caregiver Training: Weekly or biweekly

    • Heavy emphasis on parent implementation

    ✔ Best for:

    • Generalization to home

    • Caregivers ready to be hands-on

    • Younger kids or early learners

    • Direct Therapy: 10–20 hours/week (short-term block)

    • Duration: 8–16 weeks

    • Focus on specific goals (e.g., AAC use, behavior reduction)

    • Jumpstarting progress

    • Addressing high-priority behaviors

    • Transition planning

Direct Therapy cost per hour: $75

Example: 6 hours = $450 per week

‍ 12 hours = $900 per week

Caregiver Sessions cost per hour: $85

Treatment Approach

  • Naturalistic, play-based teaching (NET)

  • Structured teaching when needed (DTT)

  • Visual supports (schedules, first/then, timers)

  • Reinforcement-based strategies (no punishment-based procedures)

  • Function-based behavior intervention plans

Progress Monitoring

  • Data collected during sessions

  • Monthly or bi-monthly progress summaries

  • Ongoing goal adjustments based on performance

Discharge / Transition Planning

Services will gradually fade as:

  • Skills are generalized

  • Caregivers demonstrate independence

  • Client no longer requires intensive ABA support

Caregiver Involvement (Critical Component)

Caregivers will:

  • Receive training on strategies used in sessions

  • Practice implementing skills at home

  • Be provided with simple, realistic carryover plans

Progress is significantly improved when caregivers are actively involved.
